Odesa Police refute information on poisoning of 50 children in kindergarten

The police have revealed two cases of the poisoning in the kindergarten in Odesa as the press service of the police reported.

“As at July 24, two pupils of the mentioned kindergarten with acute gastroenterocolitis are under the treatment in the hospital. The law enforcers establish the circumstances of the disease,” the message said.

According to them, the parents did not appeal to the police.

The information about this incident is recorded to United register of pretrial investigation due to the violation of the sanitary rules and norms towards the prevention of the infectious diseases and mass poisoning.

As we reported earlier Odesa Police checked the information about the poisoning of 50 children.

As Olena Buynevych, the director of Odesa City Administration Education and Culture Department, stated it happened in the kindergarten #135. On Friday, a part of its pupils was complaining about feeling sick. It is about 16 children, now their condition is satisfactory, except for one child, who was hospitalized. According to the head of the medical facility, this case is unlikely to be connected with the kindergarten.
