15 people hospitalized with the suspicion for coronavirus in occupied areas of Donbas. Another 71 people are in quarantine. However, only half of the people were tested for Covid-19 as separatist mass media reported.

“71 people, including four children, are under observation. They are tourists who returned from Italy, Egypt, OAE, Ukraine, who possibly contacted with infected people. 15 people were hospitalized with the suspicion for Covid-19,” so-called Healthcare Minister Olga Dolgoshapko reported.

According to her, there is no confirmed case of coronavirus in occupied Donbas; the results of the second half of people in quarantine will be received in two days.

Dolgoshapko also added that 247 people stay in self-isolation. Yesterdays, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic stated about 65 patients in the hospital and 45 patients at home quarantine.

As we reported, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) made a decision to close the checkpoints at the contact line in Donbas from March 21.

As of 13:30, on March 24, there are 97 laboratory-confirmed cases of Covid-19 coronavirus in Ukraine. 3 cases were lethal and one patient recovered and was discharged from the hospital.
