"The death toll from fires in Australia has reached at least 27 people," the report said.

Meanwhile, changing weather conditions in the country allowed firefighters to relax a bit. It is noted that in the states of Victoria and New South Wales, air temperature decreased, the elements of the wind and rains fell, which reduced the intensity of fires.

Large-scale forest fires continue in Australia. The fire has destroyed over a billion animals. Nearly 200 spots of wildfire are recorded across the country, but most of the attention is paid to fires in New South Wales. The fire destroyed more than 1,200 houses and burnt out millions of hectares of land.

As we reported before, Ukraine was ready to send about 200 specially trained rescuers of the State Emergency Service to fire-engulfed Australia.

Photos that allegedly were taken at the time of forest fires in Australia are gaining momentum all over the world. For example, some of the most popular are photos from space and a photo of a girl with a koala in her arms against a burning mainland. These are fake photos.
