47 people are now confirmed Covid-19 patients in the Ukrainian capital. Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that on March 26. Seven cases of infection were reported on Thursday alone. Four women, two men and a 10-year-old boy got sick.
Two patients were brought to a hospital; the rest are staying home, in the self-isolation.
On early March 26, the Healthcare Ministry officially confirmed 156 cases of coronavirus in Ukraine. The lockdown across the country was extended until April 24. The emergency situation was announced all over the country.
Ukraine's State Agency for Reserve passed Healthcare Ministry 9,980,000 respiratory masks. The Agency's office reported that on March 26. The last batch of equipment was handed over to the Ministry on March 23.
The Agency also passed 69 portable lung ventilators, 1,180 portable breathing apparatuses, three X-ray machines, 1,350 pulse meters and 34 oxygene concentrators. All in all, the Agency passed the Ministry equipment for the sum of 2.46 million U.S. dollars.
