Number of Covid-19-infected in Ukraine increased by 550

As of the morning of May 2, the number of Covid-19 infected in Ukraine increased to 11,411. This was reported by the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine.

During the day, the number of patients in the country increased by 550 cases. As of Saturday morning, 279 fatal cases were recorded in Ukraine, and 1,498 patients recovered.

The situation in the country's regions is as follows:

Vinnytsia region - 427 cases in general (145 recovered);

Volyn region - 315 (64 recovered);

Dnipropetrovsk region - 436 (64 recovered);

Donetsk region - 70 (12 recovered);

Zhytomyr region - 393 (23 recovered);

Transcarpathian region - 496 (53 recovered);

Zaporizhya region - 267 (79 recovered);

Ivano-Frankivsk region - 942 (86 recovered);

Kyiv - 1,494 (80 recovered);

Kirovohrad region - 394 (116 recovered);

Lviv region - 465 (95 recovered);

Luhansk region - 37 (7 recovered);

Poltava region - 212 (23 recovered);

Rivne region - 689 (62 recovered);

Sumy region - 105 (62 recovered);

Ternopil region - 823 (117 recovered);

Kharkiv region - 311 (35 recovered);

Kherson region - 121 (46 recovered);

Khmelnytsky region - 98 (27 recovered);

Cherkasy region - 304 (63 recovered);

Chernivtsi region - 1745 (129 recovered);

Chernihiv region - 51 (6 recovered).

As we reported, the growth rate of new cases of coronavirus in Belarus is one of the highest in the WHO European Region; the organization calls for immediate action to strengthen measures of physical distance.
