In the last 24 hours the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine banned at least seven Russian musicians from entering Ukraine. Thus since the beginning of July at least 14 Russian musicians couldn't enter Ukraine. State Border Guard Service speaker Oleh Slobodian told this in an interview for Radio Svoboda.

"Based on the additional information that border guards received and additional interviews with members of the band AnacondaZ (the band performed at Atlas Weekend festival in Kyiv) when they were leaving the country, a decision to ban them from entering Ukraine for 3 years was reached" - said Slobodian.

He didn't mention the names of other musicians banned from coming.

Some Russian musicians, who performed in annexed Crimea, were expected at Atlas Weekend by the festival organizers. Among them - Nike Borzov and four members of his band, and Andrey Lysikov, lead singer of the band Dolphin. Another Russian singer Bianka was headed for Odesa, but she was also denied entry.

As we reported earlier, Nike Borzov was denied entry to Ukraine.
