According to preliminary information from the Ukrainian Embassy in Indonesia, there were no Ukrainians on board the SJ182 flight, which crashed near the city of Jakarta. This was announced by the speaker of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Oleg Nikolenko on Twitter.

"According to preliminary information from the Ukrainian Embassy in Indonesia and Sriwijaya Air, there were no Ukrainians on board the SJ182 flight, which crashed near Jakarta," the message says.

Indonesian Boeing 737-500 passenger plane, which was on its way from Jakarta to Pontianak disappeared from the radar a few minutes after the takeoff. This is reported by Republika.

This information has already been confirmed by the Indonesian Ministry of Transport.

Reportedly, there were 59 passengers on board.

According to the FlightRadar24 service, the plane lost about 3 km of altitude within a minute before losing communication.

At the same time, the detikNews outlet writes that the plane crashed near the island of Lucky.
