To date, not a single case has been registered in Ukraine, not a single positive sample has been revealed indicating the presence of coronavirus. Our evacuated citizens, located in a medical facility in the Poltava region, are in a good mood and they have no symptoms of acute respiratory disease,” Lyashko noted.

He also added that according to the results of the morning medical examination, none of the evacuees had an elevated temperature or other symptoms that could indicate a possible onset of the disease, although today is already the 5th day of observation.

According to studies by the Ministry of Health, this is one of the most critical days, since 14 days is the maximum duration of the incubation period of the disease. On average, cases of the disease appear on the 4th-5th day after contact with the patient.

As we reported before, Healthcare Minister Zoryana Skaletska is convinced that there is no reason to extend the observation period at the Novi Sanzhary sanatorium by more than 14 days
