The Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko stated that there were no signs of a coronavirus outbreak in Ukraine on his Facebook.

"Now there are no signs of outbreaks in Ukraine on national and regional levels, and the healthcare system is ready to respond to the challenge of the new Covid-19 wave caused by the Delta strain. But everything depends on us, so I remind you that the best protection against the disease is vaccination," the minister noted.

He assured that there will be enough vaccine in Ukraine for everyone: almost 12 million doses have already been received, and at least another 5 million doses of the vaccine are expected in August.

"In July, almost 3 million vaccinations were used to vaccinate Ukrainians, and the rate of immunization will increase in the future," Lyashko promised.

As it was reported earlier, the World Health Organization announced the start of the third wave of Covid-19 back on July 15.

The Health Economics Center of the Kyiv School of Economics reported that the probability of a Covid-19 burst is quite high.
