There is enough water for the population in Crimea annexed by Russia, as Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov reported.
“The fact that there is no water for the industry is another piece of cake. The position is quite simple; when there is the Ukrainian industry, when Ukraine is there – the Ukrainian water will certainly be there,” he noted.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine is not going to restore water supply to the temporarily occupied Crimea until it is de-occupied.
Besides, large reserves of underground freshwater were discovered in the mountains of the Crimean peninsula occupied by Russia.
