Pfizer commented on the death of a man in Vinnytsia region, which occurred a few hours after this man was vaccinated against coronavirus. They noted that the link between death and vaccination has not been proven. It was reported by Reuters.
"Our immediate thoughts are with the bereaved family. We take adverse events that are potentially associated with our Covid-19 vaccine, BNT162b2, very seriously. We note at this time that no causal link has been established in this case," Pfizer said in a statement.
Also the company noted that serious health problems can occur without vaccination.
As we reported earlier, in Vinnytsia region, on July 2, a 47-year-old man died shortly after an injection of an anti-coronavirus vaccine.
The man was vaccinated against Covid-19 at 13:45. No adverse event was reported within an hour after vaccination. At 17:00 the patient had complaints of nausea, he fainted. An ambulance was called for the citizen, and doctors carried out resuscitation measures.
Unfortunately, at 18:02, the doctors pronounced the death of the man. According to the health department of Vinnytsia region, the deceased was vaccinated with the Comirnaty / Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
