To date, not a single case of death caused by Covid-19 vaccines has been identified in the world. This is stated by the World Health Organization (WHO).

"Vaccination against Covid-19 will not reduce deaths from other causes. Deaths from other causes will continue to occur, including after vaccination, but causally unrelated. As of 9 March, over 268 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered since the start of the pandemic. No cases of death have been found to have been caused by Covid-19 vaccines to date," the WHO noted.

In addition, the WHO added that the vaccine’s benefits still outweigh the risks and it should continue to be administered.

Meanwhile, Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen in a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, reaffirmed willingness to facilitate speeding up Ukraine’s receipt of vaccines under the COVAX initiative.

"The most important thing is that this vaccine is effective and of high quality. The sooner Ukraine receives new batches of vaccines, the sooner vaccination will be carried out in our country," the Ukrainian President said.
