Nine combat helicopters of the U.S. Air Force arrived in Lithuania in order to take part in military exercises. This was reported by Radio LRT, citing a source in the Lithuanian Army.
Representatives of the Lithuanian army explained that seven American Apache helicopters and two Black Hawk helicopters came to the training ground in Pabrade to participate in the exercises.
It was not specified where this equipment had come from.
As we reported earlier, the U.S. military performed drills in the Black Sea.
USS Porter, the guided missile destroyer, Poseidon P-8A reconnaissance plane, four F-16 fighter jets, an MQ-9 Reaper drone, and KC-135 Stratotanker participated in them.
"The purpose of this training event was to exercise command and control in a joint training environment with our U.S. Air Force brothers and sisters to increase our tactical proficiency, and Porter’s crew did just that. This training enabled us to continue to build on our combined capability to quickly and effectively respond to any threats in the complex maritime environment," reads the report.
