The new batch of the vaccine against coronavirus made by Pfizer-BioNTech will be delivered in Ukraine on Wednesday, May 26. Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry reported that on Facebook.

According to the report, it will be the first batch purchased for the budget funds. PavlovskyNews Telegram channel reported that the cargo will arrive in the Kyiv international airport, at about 10.25 a.m. Kyiv time.

A source in the Healthcare Ministry claimed that from now on, flights with small batches of drugs from coronavirus will be coming to Ukraine on a daily basis. The supplies will be delivered in small packages, as there are limits of the amount of dry ice on a plane.

Pfizer also claimed that the contract foresees that 20 million doses are supposed to reach Ukraine by the end of the year. The company made a big discount for Ukraine, and eventually, the price of the vaccine appeared to be even lower than any drugs from Covid-19 procured by Ukraine.

"The actual price is kept in secret, but it can be about 10-15 dollars. The UN asked to make sich a discount for poor countries", Pfizer sources said.
