The Ukrainian Embassy in the United States called on the American news agency The New York Times to correct the map of the distribution of the COVID-19 pandemic, where Crimea is designated as the Russian territory. The Embassy reported that via Twitter.

"The New York Times made the wrong map of the coronavirus! It's so irresponsible! Team NYT, do you really support all the atrocities, torture and even killings that the Kremlin is doing in occupied Crimea? If not, correct the map," - the tweet said.

As we reported before, the Embassy of Ukraine in Washington urged the American newspaper The New York Times, which published the map of Ukraine without Crimea, to correct the mistake and “not to play into the hands of Russian information propaganda as the embassy reported on Facebook.

“It expects the prompt response of the journalists of the influential newspaper, which is intended to provide the truth to the American and the world society," the embassy noted.
