New record of Covid-19 incidence in Kyiv: 1,083 cases reported

During the past 24 hours, 1,083 new Covid-19 cases have been registered in Kyiv. It is the new record since the beginning of the pandemic as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.

“In Kyiv, in 24 hours, the largest number of people infected with coronavirus is observed since the beginning of the pandemic – 1,083 cases,” the message said.

The majority of the cases were observed in Solomyansky district – 134, Desnyansky – 127 and Shevchenkivsky district – 126 cases.

As of today, there are 48,646 Covid-19 cases in Kyiv.

13 people died during the past 24 hours. Totally, the virus claimed the lives of 938 Kyiv citizens.

354 people recovered from the coronavirus; while 18,333 overcame the disease in general.

As we reported, Ukrainian Healthcare Ministry reported 11,787 new cases of coronavirus. 512,652 cases have been registered since the pandemic reached Ukraine. 233,849 people recovered from the disease (+6,155 per 24 hours). 9317 people deceased (+172 per 24 hours).
