Chief Sanitary Inspector of Ukraine, Deputy Health Minister Viktor Lyashko predicts the possibility of the new outbreak of the coronavirus the next week, as RBK-Ukraine reported.

“If we talk about Easter, the work, which was held, provided a positive effect. In a week, there is no outbreak. Possibly, it will take place now, on the seventh day after Easter. We know that the incubation period – up to 14 days…” Lyashko said.

According to him, currently, the health system does not face the peak load. The dynamics of growth in the disease rate varies within acceptable parameters – 5-10% daily. The Health Ministry seeks to prevent the increase of the daily growth of the incidence up to 30%.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal stated that two peaks of the coronavirus infection are expected in Ukraine: one peak is expected at the end of April, another one in the period of time between May 3 and May 8.
