The new epidemic zoning in Ukraine will become effective on September 14. Kyiv ended up in the orange quarantine zone, said Minister of the Cabinet Oleg Nemchinov.

Earlier, we reported that the World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that the current coronavirus pandemic is not the last one and the countries should be better prepared for the next one, as Reuters reported.

“This will not be the last pandemic. History teaches us that outbreaks and pandemics are a fact of life. But when the next pandemic comes, the world must be ready – more ready than it was this time,” WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.

The WHO urged the countries to invest in public health to prepare better for the next pandemic.

According to the recent data, over 27.19 million people have got infected with Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. 888,326 people died from the coronavirus.
