The Ukrainian Cabinet imposes new epidemic zoning in the country, which is to become active since midnight of November 9. Kyiv remains in the orange zone, while many regional capital cities are in the red zone. Minister of the Cabinet Oleg Nemchynov reported that on Friday.
According to the map, Poltava and Zhytomyr regions are completely in the red zone; much of Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions are in the red one, too. Thjis also concerns regional capitals such as Sumy, Mykolaiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and some others.
On November 5, the daily number of those who recovered from coronavirus exceeded the number of newly infected people. Maksym Stepanov, the Healthcare Minister of Ukraine reported that on Facebook.
9,721 new cases have been confirmed on Thursday; 10,762 people recovered on that day.
440,188 cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Ukraine since the pandemic began; 195,544 people recovered, and 8,125 passed away.
As is known, Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry will impose the weekend quarantine next week - because of the rapid spread of Covid-19 in this country. The restrictions will become active since November 14 and 15. Maksym Stepanov, the Healthcare Minister said so during the evening show at 1+1 TV channel.
According to the Minister, only critical infrastructure objects will work on these days, including grocery shops, pharmacies and public transport.
