There will be two main columns: the first one is Holodomor collections from A to Z, where we are going to place the certificated collections of the certain researchers, local historians, social activists, research and educational institutions and the second is Holodomor: Family history, where the photos, audio, video, documentary material about history of particular people or the entire family will be placed’, as it is stated in the message.
Yaroslava Muzychenko the coordinator of the project reported that the website will begin to work in the autumn till the anniversary of the Holodomor. Every person will be able to create the family page with the remembrance of the Holodomor. To do this, a person should be registered in the website and fill out a form.
‘There will be the form to fill out and also a frame for search. If a person wants to find the information according to the surname, place, city and so on, it will be possible’, Muzychenko explained.
Vera Anusova the teacher of math from the Luhansk Region laid a foundation of the database creation. She began to write down the stories of the witnesses of the Holodomor since 1984. She has almost 500 written down stories and there are even more stories that are not deciphered.
