Several cases of poisoning with an unknown substance occurred near Salisbury, England. Two people were found in the street unconscious, perhaps poisoned by the unidentified agent.

The Guardian reported that both patients are now in critical condition.

Theresa May, British PM, stated that Russia was involved, and the investigation confirmed the use of the Novichok nerve agent, which is produced solely in Russia.

Great Britain expelled 23 Russian diplomats, which was supported by the USA, Canada, Ukraine and many other European states.

The representative of the OPCW promised to provide the results of the substance examination.
