A neo-Nazi march took place in the center of the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. The action resulted in clashes between protesters and police. This is reported by Aftonbladet newspaper.
The protest was organized by the so-called "Northern Resistance Movement". During the march law enforcement was provided by police. However, the skirmishes soon began after the participants tried to break through the police encirclement and started throwing stones. One policeman and one of the demonstrators were injured.
The police detained 60 people, they are suspected of violent riots. The police noted that there is a possibility of new arrests.
