Over the last 24 hours, almost 6.5 thousand Ukrainians have returned to Ukraine from abroad. The press center of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service informed about it.

"In the morning, there are no queues for passengers with their own vehicles and pedestrians at the checkpoints. During the past 24 hours, almost 2.5 thousand people have arrived without their own transport. There were transported by vehicles, which were provided by the local authorities and the State Emergency Service," the statement reads.

In addition, 4,3 thousand people left Ukraine on April 1, 1,7 thousand of them were foreign citizens.

As we reported earlier, the State Border Guard Service expects that nearly 200,000 citizens may return to Ukraine by Easter

"According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, at the moment about 17 thousand Ukrainians have declared their intention to return to the territory of Ukraine. Of course, not all of them are its citizens. We expect that about 200 thousand of our compatriots may return before Easter," the statement said.
