According to a poll that was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, 56.6% of Ukrainian citizens believe that Ukraine will achieve peace and normalization of relations with Russia in the future.
It is worth noting that this indicator was 51.3% back in April.
In turn, only 30% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine and Russia will have tense/conflicting relations in the future.
The poll was conducted throughout the territory of Ukraine, except for temporarily uncontrolled districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Crimea.
As we reported earlier, Vice Prime Minister, Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Olexiy Reznikov believes that the war in Donbas is devastating for Russia's economy, and, therefore, is already unprofitable for it.
“The moment has come that such a war with Ukraine is unprofitable, unpragmatic, it does not give any political points, either internal or external, that the confrontation with the world is sucking out the Russian Federation, including economically. For them, the maneuver that they made in 2014, it is already harmful, not beneficial," the official noted.
