National Bank reprimanded and expressed no confidence in Rozhkova and Solohub

The Council of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reprimanded and expressed no confidence in first deputy head of the NBU Kateryna Rozhkova and the deputy chairman of the NBU Dmytro Solohub. This was announced on his Facebook page by NBU Council chairman Bohdan Danylyshyn.

"The Council decided: to reprimand Kateryna Rozhkova, First Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, and Dmytro Solohub, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine," Danylyshyn wrote.

Danylyshyn added that the Council also decided to express no confidence in Rozhkova and Solohub.

According to the press service of the National Bank, the official reason for this decision is a violation of the NBU regulations, the NBU Employee Code of Ethics, the internal regulations for the NBU employees and the requirements of the Labor Code of Ukraine.

The Council recommended to the Board of the National Bank to strengthen the executive discipline and responsibility of the National Bank employees, to ensure sufficient performance of the compliance function, to strengthen control when making decisions regarding the use of methods of influencing banks in the field of financial monitoring
