Nationalists protest near EU Delegation building in Kyiv

They demand taking measures to release the Luhansk "ultras" detained by Donbas militants

Several hundred "ultras" and representatives of patriotic organizations started the protest near Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine building. This is stated in a message on the Facebook page of C14 public organization.

First, the protesters marched in the center of Kyiv in support of Luhansk "ultras" Vladyslav Ovcharenko and Artem Akhmerov, detained by ORLO militants.

Later, the column came to the building of the EU Delegation, demanding from European authorities to pay attention to the captured Luhansk citizens and help to release them.

We recall, in October, gunmen of ORLO sentenced to 17 years in prison Luhansk fan of Zarya team Vladyslav Ovcharenko. Another fan, Artem Akhmerov, was illegally sentenced to 13 years.

In November 2016, representatives of the so-called Ministry of State Security of the terrorist organization LNR announced the detention of "the leaders of an underground neo-Nazi group" in Luhansk. Militants accused Ovcharenko and Akhmerov of "espionage"
