National police made a good progress in Voronenko’s case

National police made a good progress in investigating Voronenko’s case. Andriy Kryshchenko, the deputy head of Ukraine’s National Police, reported that on air of 5 TV channel.

“Kyiv Prosecutors Office conducts the investigation, Kyiv police is also involved. We do not have any information to report yet, thus I can’t provide it. The investigation is underway, we take a lot of measures, identify the people, crime associates,” Kryshchenko said.

Denis Voronenkov and llya Ponomarev, former MPs of the Russian State Duma, are the witnesses in treason case against fugitive Victor Yanukovych. According to the Prosecutor General Office, the law allows to add Voronenkov’s testimony on written record on the stage of the court investigation.

Law enforcers say it’s a contract murder. “This is the first version we consider, knowing who the victim is and his activity and the way a crime was committed.”
