National Guard serviceman saves girl from suicide

The 16-year-old could become a victim of the infamous Blue Whale game; the incident took place in Zaporizhya, southeastern Ukraine

A serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine saved the life of 16-year-old girl as she tried to commit suicide. She was about to jump from the dam of Dnipro hydroelectric plant - under the influence of the infamous vitrual game, The Blue Whale.

Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported that with the reference to the military unit No.3029, which belongs to the 9th Regiment of the National Guard. 

According to the message, serviceman Andriy Stukalo was driving across the plant, when he noticed a crying girl standing on the railing of the plant. He approached her and talked her out of jumping. Then, he helped her get off the railing to safety. The girl was in a tough psychological condition, and she could not explain the reasons for such actions.

According to the local police department, several days ago, she disappeared and did not come home. It turned out that she was instructed to jump, as the 'curator' of The Blue Whale told her so. 

Currently, the minor is safe, with her parents.
