The detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine are holding searchers of the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing, and management of assets divided from corruption and other crimes (ARMA). The press service of Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau reports this on Facebook.
The searchers are held in the framework of investigation of possible abuse of powers by the state officials as well as inflicting damages almost in $350,000 to the legal bodies.
The NABU detectives are investigating the attempts to take over the property of a group of companies LLC Rostock-Holding at the amount of over 132 million dollars.
The pre-trial investigation has been launched since January 2019. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine also does not rule out the possibility of forgery of document, seal or stamp for committing crimes.
Earlier, the investigators of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office detained the acting and former directors of the State Foreign Trade Enterprise SpetsTechnoExport on suspicion of embezzling $2,225 million, according to NABU.
