The US aerospace agency NASA introduced the "Pact of Artemis" - an agreement between space countries on the rules for the exploration of the moon. The official website of NASA reports.

As part of the program, the US agency plans to land "the first woman and another man" on the lunar surface.

NASA noted that it is extremely important to develop a common set of principles governing civilian research and the use of outer space.

The agency said that partners will be able to join the pact, concluding bilateral agreements that will set out a common vision of the principles that comply with the 1967 Outer Space Treaty. These principles should provide a safe and transparent environment that will facilitate space research.

According to the press center of the Yuzhmash plant, Production Association Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant named after A.M. Makarov, the manufacturer of Antares first stage, preparatory work at the launch pad of the Mid-Atlantic regional spaceport is in full swing.
