Mykolaiv city council's department for economiс development and EBRD representatives discussed the creation of a new tourist route in Ukraine, which is supposed to link Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson, three Ukrainian southern cities. This is mentioned in the message by the press office of Mykolaiv city council.
The press conference that took place in Odesa focused on the world's best practices in tourism in conditions of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
EBRD members presented a refreshed roadmap of competitive development of tourism in Ukraine in conditions of Covid-19 pandemic and its consequences for Ukrainian tourism.
During the event, the sides agreed that each of the three cities of the new route will be able to represent their unique tourist locations.
To boost the interest of possible investors, the State Agency for Development of Tourism of Ukraine announced that the new grant program for touristic business from Ukrainian Cultural Fund will be launched. Those wishing to apply are welcome; the window opened on July 30.
The overall budget of the project makes roughly 19.3 million U.S. dollars, 3.5 of which are supposed to cover the needs of domestic tourism.
