Mykolaiv regional authority imposes red-zone quarantine restrictions

Red-zone quarantine restrictions will be introduced in Mykolaiv region on March 27. The respective decision was made on the session of the State Committee for Environmental safety and Emergencies. Oleg Nemvchynov, the Minister of the Cabinet left the post on his Telegram channel.

According to the message, the limitations will take effect on the midnight of March 27.

Earlier, Kyiv city and a number of regions (Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Odesa, Sumy and Lviv regions) entered the red-level quarantine zone.

We previously reported that a strict lockdown is introduced in the city from March 24 till April 4. The cafes and restaurants will be closed for visitors and will be working in the takeaway mode. Fitness centers and beauty salons will be working only under personal scheduled appointments. Passengers who use public transport will need to carry special IDs. The restriction also temporarily forbids people to visit weekend markets, religious services, and sports events.

The doctors do not rule out that the lockdown may be extended.
