The surgery for Olexandr Pugachov, the murderer of two police agents in Dnipro city, went fine. He is stable; the doctors did everything to avoid any more complications to his health. Serhiy Ryzhenko, Chief Doctor at the Illya Mechnikov’s hospital in Dnipro, said this in a commentary to 112 Ukraine TV channel.

‘His small intestine was penetrated in four different places. The bullet also hurt his liver, went near the kidney and stuck near the twelfth rib, exactly where we took it out’, Ryzhenko said.

In the next few hours, law enforcers will have permission to interview Pugachov; he may be discharged in a week.

The main suspect in the murder of policeman and policewoman in Dnipro never admitted his guilt. He says Pugachov is not his last name. He tried to undergo a surgery using a fake ID, but the doctors reported to the police and he was detained.
