Murder of plastic surgeon in Kyiv: Prosecutor's Office suspects two persons

Law enforcers sent a petition to court to select the preventive measures for the suspects

On Saturday, February 15, the Prosecutor's Office reported suspicion to two persons detained in connection with the involvement in the murder of a plastic surgeon in the center of Kyiv. The press service of the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office reported this information on its Facebook page.

A man was detained in Odesa; according to investigators, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic committed the murder and was informed of suspicion under items 6, 11, 12, part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).

The accomplice is suspected with aidingd the performer as he delivered him to the crime scene.

"Now, applications have been sent to the Shevchenkivskiy district court of the city of Kiev to select measures of restraint by the suspect in the form of detention without determining the size of the bail," the statement said.

Pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The motives of the crime are being established.

As we reported before, today, the staff of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv region together with border guards detained a foreigner, who is suspected of killing a plastic surgeon on the evening of February 2, in the airport of Odesa. This was reported by the Head of Kyiv National Police Andrii Kryshchenko.
