The doctors managed to preserve the fetus of the woman, who is 20 weeks pregnant, injured in a car crash in Kharkiv last night. She is in the hospital, the prognosis is positive. Galyna Siroshtan, the acting head of the health department of the Kharkiv State Regional Administration, reported that on their official website.

“One of the victims is 20 weeks pregnant, the fetus was preserved, the prognosis is positive,” reads the message.

As 112.International reported, an SUV drove into a crowd of people in Kharkiv. As a result, five people died, six more were injured, the press service of the Kharkiv Police informs.

'According to the preliminary information, 11 people suffered: five died, six more received injuries of different severity,' the statement said.

The tragedy happened at about 8:45 p.m. in Sumska street in the downtown of Kharkiv. The law enforcers are clarifying the accident. The woman who was driving the car has been detained.

The woman who drove the Lexus RX has been arrested.
