More than two dozen Tatar arrested in annexed Crimea

According to the Lawyer Emile Kurbedinov, some of the detainees were taken to the Centre to combat extremism, and the rest - in a district department of police

More than two dozen of the Crimean Tatars have been detained by Russian security forces in the occupied Crimea. This was reported by the journalist from ‘Crimea. Realities’ agency Anton Naumlyuk on his page on Facebook.

As noted by Anton Naumlyuk, a search was conducted in the Kyivsky region of Simferopol, in Kamenka, at the Crimean Marlene Mustafayev’s house. However, at the site of the search, police detained ten more people.

According to Facebook page of the Lawyer Emile Kurbedinov, Marlene Mustafayev was taken to the Center for Extremism Prevention Research Affairs of the Republic of Crimea, and the rest of the detainees, the number of which according to him is 20 persons, were taken to the district department of police.

"I constantly receive information that they are illegally photographing some guys and try to get their fingerprints", said Emil Kurbedinov.
