More than 98 percent of Ukrainians who were hospitalized with coronavirus over the last three months were not vaccinated. Ihor Kuzin, the Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine reported that as cited by the press office of Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry.

"According to the e-system of healthcare, over the last three months, almost everyone who ended up at hospital due to complications from Covid-19 in Ukraine have not been vaccinated yet. If you want to save yourself from a grave form [of the diease], hospitalization and death, get vaccinated today", Kuzin said.

He added that currently, the epidemic background in Ukraine worsens drastically. The number of new cases of Covid-19 per 24 hours grew twice over one week. On Monday, the daily number of newly infected made 3,300, and on Friday, it was already 6,000.

More than a quarter of beds in the Ukrainian hospitals are occupied by Covid patients. The biggest bed occupancy rate is observed in Chernivtsu and Ternopil regions.
