Totally, 9, 091 people, including 3,270 adults and 5, 821 children sickened with measles during as at thirteenth week of 2018 as Public Health Centre of Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry reported.
According to the data, 699 people, including 331 adults and 368 children infected with the measles during the thirteenth week of 2018.
Seven people died due to the complications: five children and two adults.
Most people infected with the measles in Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1, 807 people and Zakarpattia region – 1, 6-7 people and least in Luhansk region – only four cases were spotted.
The Health Ministry urges the parent to vaccine their children. At the moment, the vaccines are available at all regions. About 304, 000 doses remained. A new supply of the MMP vaccines is expected in April.
Earlier the European Health Security Agency reported that Ukraine was the third in Europe on the number of people infected with measles in 2017. The leaders are Romania and Italy.
