Since the beginning of 2020, over 100 people have died in Ukrainian waters, as the State Emergency Service (SES) reports.

"Since the beginning of 2020, rescuers have recorded more than 100 cases of deaths of citizens at the country's water bodies. Eight children are among the dead," the report said.

"On Sunday, February 16, at 8:53 a message was received that on the highway Rava-Russka - Sudova Vyshnya at the entrance to the village of Koty in the Yavorivsky district, the Audi-80 car lost control and fell into the lake," the message read.
