Currently, the rate makes 2.1%, while in April, it was 3%.
“Concerning the mortality, we have one of the smallest in the world. We can be proud of our doctors who lead to such results,” Stepanov said.
He added that in France, the death-rate makes over 9%, in the UK – over 11%, in Germany – about 4% and in the U.S. – about 3%.
The old people or people with coexistent diseases come through an illness more severe. According to the statistics, in 90% of cases, people over 50-years-old died from the coronavirus in Ukraine.
As of September 10, in Ukraine, 145,612 laboratory-confirmed cases of Covid-19, 3,023 of which were fatal, 65,877 patients recovered. 2,582 new cases have been observed over the last 24 hours. A total of 1,778,483 PCR tests were performed. 1,174 patients managed to recover during September 9. In 24 hours, 2,582 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Ukraine.
