Montenegro lifts restrictions on Ukrainians during tourist season

Montenegro intends to remove all restrictions for Ukrainian travelers with the opening of the tourist season. The Minister of Finance and Social Welfare Milojko Spajić announced this on Twitter.

"We are pleased to inform you that all restrictive measures will be lifted for citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine and Northern Macedonia to visit Montenegro in the 2021 tourist season," Spajić said.

According to him, this will also apply to the requirement to undergo PCR testing for coronavirus.

The Minister assured that Montenegro remains a reliable and safe tourist destination this year as well.

As it was reported earlier, Only five of the 217 countries and territories in the world are completely open to tourists. In total, according to the WTO, as of February 1, 2021, 32% of all tourist destinations in the world are closed for international travel, 34% are partially closed, and only 2% (the above five countries) have canceled all restrictions related to coronavirus.
