The Ukrainian Radionics company and the state design bureau Luch successfully launched missiles from the modernized S-125 M "Pechora" SAM complex. The press office of the bureau informs about this on its Facebook page.

It is noted that during the test, a 5V27D-M2 missile with an active radar homing head was launched from a modernized anti-aircraft missile system.

"At the initial stage, the rocket moves along an aeroballistic trajectory, such a missile flight substantially increases the far boundary of the C-125M air defense zone," it was reported.

Note that the far limit of the affected area for the new missiles is 40 km, the maximum height of the affected zone is 25 km.
