The largest exhibition of the mobile industry Mobile World Congress was postponed at the end of June 2021 due to Covid-19. Initially, it was planned for the first week of March, MWC will take place from June 28 up to July 1, as Elperiodico reported.
“GSMA postpones Mobile World Congress 2021 for June,” the message says.
It is noted that unlike any other technical exhibition, MWC 20201 will have personal participation. GSMA stated that it will have ‘virtual elements to satisfy a huge need in the physical gathering’.
Consumer Electronics Show exhibition, the largest technical exhibition that usually takes place in Las Vegas in two months before MWC should become an online event in January 2021.
GSMA is a trade body that presents over 1,200 companies in the sphere of mobile phone production. Mobile World Congress is the chance for partnership, the conclusion of deals and the launch of new products. MWC is held in Barcelona annually.
