In connection with the arrest of the suspected murderers of Pavel Sheremet, Ministry of Veterans, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons is ready to provide them with a full range of legal assistance. The head of the Ministry Oksana Kolyada reported that on Facebook.

The Minister noted that she was personally acquainted with Vlad and Inna Grishchenko, Andriy Antonenko, Julia Kuzmenko and Yana Dugar. According to her, all of them are recognized authorities in the veteran and volunteer movement. Kolyada emphasized that the murder of Sheremet should be investigated, but in such a way that no one doubts the evidence base.

“The ministry will fulfill its direct functions in relation to the beneficiaries. We are ready to provide a full range of legal assistance, without giving an assessment of the merits of the case,” Kolyada said.

As we reported, Kyiv Pechersk District Court chose a preventive measure for one of the suspects in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet.
