Ministry of Internal Affairs records increase in electric cars by 56% in Ukraine

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in 2019 recorded an increase in electric cars in Ukraine by 56% compared to 2018. Only as of June last year, 25 thousand electric cars were registered in Ukraine, as the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on Facebook reports.

"On January 1, 2020, the Law of Ukraine" On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Creation of Access to the Infrastructure of Charging Stations for Electric Cars "came into force," - the report said.

According to this legislation, from now on, stopping, parking or parking an ordinary car in places for electric cars entails a fine in the amount of 20 to 30 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens ($12-20).
