The Ministry of Health has updated the standard of care for infected Сovid-19 and provides for the introduction of clinical triage. The deputy head of the Ministry of Health - the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko announced this information on briefing.

According to him, yesterday, on March 28, the standard of medical care for infected coronavirus was updated.

"We envisage the introduction of clinical triage. Patients with moderate and severe illness should be hospitalized in hospitals. All others should be treated on an outpatient basis under the supervision and medical supervision," Lyashko said.

He also emphasized that there is no specific treatment for Covid-19, symptomatic treatment is being carried out.

According to Lyashko, an expert group of leading professors and clinicians has been created in the Ministry of Health who will study all the advanced treatment methods used in the world and recommend their use in Ukraine in cases where there are no options to save the patient's life.
