The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine has increased the threshold of patients for the countries of the "green" zone from 40 to 55 people per 100,000 population. Thus, nine countries were added to the new list. This was announced by Minister of Healthcare Maksym Stepanov during a briefing on July 19.
He noted that among the added countries are Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and Egypt.
"After the threshold was increased from 40 active patients per 100,000 of the population to 55 people, another 9 states were added to the list of countries in the green zone. You can find all this information on the website of the Ministry of Health," Stepanov said.
After increasing the threshold, citizens of Ukraine who return from these countries do not require two weeks of self-isolation.
At the same time, countries such as Canada, Belarus, France, Maldives, and the United Arab Emirates remain on the list of countries of the "red" zone.
When entering Ukraine from these countries, you must undergo a 14-day observation. However, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed stopping self-isolation or observation upon presentation of a negative PCR test for coronavirus, made after returning.
July 15, the Cabinet of Ministers made a decision to reduce the permissible threshold of active patients for the countries of the "green" zone.
