The Presidential University is planned to be built on the territory of the Expocenter of Ukraine National Complex for almost $2 billion (7,2 billion hryvnias). Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet stated this during the Ukraine 30 forum.

"Why Expocenter? Today there is a concept of forming a new Expocenter space, with a business zone, a sports zone and a zone of culture and recreation. In general, the development of the Presidential University is a logical conclusion of the spatial development of the territory of the Expocenter for students to use all infrastructure facilities at the same time," Shkarlet said.

He added that the construction of the university is estimated at almost $2 billion.

Scarlett said that there will be 20 people in each course, so the university will be able to enroll only 120 students annually. The university admissions process will consist of 4 stages, which will include External Independent Evaluation (ZNO), internal competitions and interviews.

As it was reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the establishment of the Presidential University that will graduate specialists on the security of our state. According to the head of state, university education will be free, but graduates will be required to work in Ukraine.
