Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

Ukraine's Defense Ministry announced Friday that it has begun implementing 20 new NATO standards to its armed forces, Dmytro Gutsulyak, the press officer of the Ministry, said at a briefing with Ukrainian News outlets.

Gutsulyak said the changes would bring Ukraine's uniform and protection standards in-line with NATO's requirements.

Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has claimed in recent months that Ukraine's entire armed forces will meet NATO standards by 2020.
