The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy has excluded Russian singer Philipp Kirkorov from the previous list of persons who threaten Ukraine's national security. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Culture.
Also, the Ministry of Culture explained their decision by the fact that they received a new letter from the SBU with a request to exclude Kirkorov from this list.
"According to a new letter from the Security Service of Ukraine with a request to withdraw the preliminary letter on the inclusion of Philipp Kirkorov in the list of persons threatening the national security of Ukraine, the Ministry excludes Kirkorov from this list," the explanation says.
Both orders, both on inclusion and cancellation of inclusion, were issued on the basis of the corresponding letters of the SBU.
Including or excluding certain persons from the list, the ministry carries out only administrative technical action regarding the promulgation of the decision of the competent authorities (in this case, the Security Service of Ukraine) in the manner determined by the legislation on the qualification of actions of foreign citizens that lead to their inclusion in the list of persons posing a threat to national security.
Earlier, the Ministry of Culture reported that the letter from the SBU on the inclusion of Kirkorov in the list of people posing a threat to national security was received by them on June 11. By order of the Ministry of June 22, the singer was included in this list.
The singer stated that he was proud of being included in this list, although he considers it absurd.
